The Reporter's Notebook on Algeria looks interesting and informative on the major scandal Algeria has recently witnessed. Indeed, the report is comprehensive, giving a detailed picture of the financial scandal.
Unfortunately, the report focuses too much on this one issue: it is 100 percent about this trial, which lasted two months and kept the media very busy with daily coverage of court proceedings.
However, day-to-day life in Algeria provides other opportunities to report on corruption and various other scandals. Daily papers, from time to time, offer wide coverage of these aspects.
